Would like to see an "Arrows" or "Ammo" category added to the inventory, so that arrows can sit in there rather than getting in my way as I'm trying to scan through my weapons.

I'm willing to put some work into this myself, but haven't done any modding on anything before. Does adding a new item category and changing the category of an existing item sound doable? Is it doable without the creation kit? Where should I start looking?
