Hello.

I have been playing the 1.2 update for perhaps 12 hours now, no major issues yet (apart from the Magic Resistance bug), although I did start a new game for the 1.2 patch and thus far have been playing from the disc. After convincing myself the textures look fine I decided to install the game to see what happens.
While installing, a couple of things occurred to me. Is the correct install sequence to;

1) Delete system cache.
2) Install original game from disc to HDD.
3) Download and apply 1.2 patch.

Hopefully this is correct as this is what I did...

Except what happens if you have (for example) been playing from the disc under 1.1, the update downloads and is applied, then the game itself is installed from disc afterwards? Assuming the above sequence is correct, could this explain any of the glitches people are experiencing, or would it make no difference?

Also it seems deleting the game install, the system cache, and all the saves does not get rid of ALL the data! I did this and somehow it knows what my previous preferences were (such as look-speed, brightness, etc). If anyone could let me know where to find the remaining data and/or whether it could fraggle the game, I would be very grateful.
