I found the Imperial Missive in the Battle-Born's house, but my journal won't update! I have tried to to remove and re-add the book through console commands, but it still won't work. The Clairvoyance Spell keeps leading me to the spot where the book was. I also hoofed it all the way to the Northwatch Keep, fought my way to the captive, but I can't release or talk to him. I've tried talking to everyone related to the quest as well. I am so confused and wish I knew how to update the quest, Any help would be appreciated.
