I didn't read the entire thread, mostly the first page, but it seems to me that you people are having over heating issues.


Incorrect colours, missing textures, malformed rocks (spikes), are all artifacting caused by overheating and overclocking too much in most cases.


I'd suggest installing hardware monitor, and keep an eye on your temperatures, and try to improve your circulation and cooling situation.


I should mention that all of this was happening to me, until I did just as I advised above. It isn't specific to Skyrim, it will happen in any game that pushes your machine. You should have seen what I caused to myself in Dragon Age.
