Purple textures and can't start new game

Skyrim had worked just fine for me since release day I have not installed the game to any drive and play it from the disc.. that was until I downloaded patch 1.2, with my magic resistance gone decided I wanted to revert and continue with my game until the patch was fixed so I cleared my drive cache to get rid of patch 1.2. After I did this I found I could not load my save and figured I could live with no magic resistance..... This is where everything screws up...

I re-downloaded patch 1.2, loaded my save and discovered everything had turned purple.. apparently the release day patch fixed that bug?? Now no matter what I try I can't get rid of them. I decided to delete my save games cleared the cache again and try starting from scratch but still when the game begins the execution cart is surrounded by purple textures there's no sound and I constantly freeze and have to reboot and try starting a new game. Are the older patches not included in 1.2?

I have tried downloading the old patches on my usb as mentioned in other threads I can almost start a game, and can see that I am back to 1.1, but this has no effect I still suffer from purple textures and freeze moments later into the game. I can no longer play at all... what do I do? please help!
