I want to start a new character but want to wait for the next patch in the hope (I know, I'm an idiot) it improves the lag a lot.

Honestly, I will be surprised if Lag is even addressed in this patch. I got the feeling this next patch was mainly to fix the resistance issues and the backwards flying dragons that they created with the last patch.

I thought they said this week but they said it would come out for the PC first. It will have to go through Sony's certification before we see it.

What's the use?? it isn't going to fix the lag anyway...sell it before the price of used games go further down...

I bet it will be the 8th, actually it would make sense.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it does anything more than fix those two issues. Or claim to fix them, anyway.

Chances of it coming out tomorrow are slim to none, since the PC patch isn't out yet - which means Bethesda are knowingly unleashing a totally defunct product on Japan's launch day. I feel sorry for the folks that go for a day-one purchase over there.

Updates will be out pre-January to fix "technical issues" and updates from January onwards will fix data bugs like broken quests etc...

In other words, just wait till they release the final patch before playing the game...thats what I will do...

I'm very scared of they fixing only those 2 issues. They managed to make the game freeze ALOT now too on loading screens and i don't want to break my PS3 by hard resetting all the time.
