If there's an easy way to fix that with ini settings or via console, I'd love to know about it, but a general purpose mod that allowed you to set character size AND have 1POV work correctly when you did so would be nice. Even better if size had some game effects (larger size meaning bonus carry & intimidate, minus stealth and sales prices, the later simulating increased expenses for large people). There would need to be limits (suggest x.7 to x1.4), but hey, in Skyrim, the player is SPECIAL, even in genetic terms....
Another setscale related problem is that most of the animations no longer work quite right. Being larger than normal means my toon's hands end up higher and farther out during all animations, so I literally punch through people I stab (kinda amusing the first few times, a bit lame thereafter) and most crafting work takes place well above the work surface. For the player, this is somewhat tolerable, bit it would be a major FAIL if it happened to NPCs, which I'm guessing is the real reason all NPC's of the same race / six are the exact same height. If the animation issue for players could be solved, it could likely be applied to NPCs to allow random / character appropriate scaling of any and all NPCs, perhaps improving the variety of children and allowing for "young advlts" (of whom there seem a fair number, they just are all full grown already).
