Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I am new here but after a few playthroughs on the game, I had to come to the forums to find out details on this.

On each of the three playthroughs that I have done, I have found some sort of glitch with the houses. In particular, the house in Whiterun, but also the house in Riften.

In Whiterun, I am aware there was a gltich with the weapon holders not working. The glitch seemed to be fixed only for a similar glitch to show up when I purchased a house in Riften. Now, I am having issues with the book case in the living room area of the Whiterun house (beside the pot you cook on). Essentially, the bookcase will not activate to let me remove or place additional books there. It will not let me click on any of the books placed on the shelf either. This glitch showed up on the most recent playthrough along with a few others. I think the glitch happened after the 1.2 was installed but I am not exactly sure. I know I definitely noticed it after the patch was installed.

In Riften, on the second playthrough, I got some sort of odd glitch where I was allowed to buy the house but the quest was not completed. It looked like also that not all the decorating items showed up either for the house. Furthermore, despite having done everything to finished the quest to become a Thane, the dialog never showed up from the Jarl to make one. I got the quest objective to return and talk to the Jarl but was not allowed to complete the quest for whatever reason.

On the same playthrough as the Whiterun bookcase glitch, there was an odd glitch at the Word Wall north of Meridia's shrine. The wall tried to activate but never full lit up or gave me the word. There was a very noticeable graphic glitch there where the word tried to light up but only part of it did then it stalled. This concerns me because it was a wall I had got on previous playthrough with no difficulty.

I have since restarted and I am on my fourth playthrough. So far, I have had two random dragon encounters with backward playing dragons. One of them flew backward and looked like it was drug out of the encounter. I had heard about the backward flying dragon glitch but never seen it till this morning.

Moreso concerned about the Word Wall glitch and the house glitch than the backward dragons. Plus, I would like to get my Thane title in Riften properly and I am not exactly sure why that happened the way it did.
