Damage not scaling from enchantsgear (PS3)

I had maxed enchanting, alchemy and smithing, when I decided to take a fresh clean daedric set + some jewelery and max out one-handed damage.

Having my Daedric dagger (smithing enhanced) doing 108 damage in old gear, I was surprised to see no change after equipping the newly enchanted stuff that supposedly added about 150% dmg output. Tried putting on some older one-hand-enhancing gear to check if the new stuff got bugged somehow, no difference there either, also bugged. Tried rezoning, resetting, reloading, reequipping, other weapons and pretty much everything I could think of, no matter how irrelevant. Also compared the damage in combat supposing it could have been a "display" error of some sort, but no. And another thing I just noticed, potions apparently have no effect now either (to 1h dmg). As far as I know there is no cap on these things, right?

Note: Another enchant I tried, "Fortify Heavy Armor", had no problem scaling armor rating correctly.

(Dual enchant perk used)

How is this possible? Help much appreciated! (PS3)
