A new video interview with Matt Firor has been posted on Game Informer:

I really liked Matt's comment about freedom to explore locations in any order, rather than, say, seeing a shiny tower in the distance but having to go to a town to get the quest first (as is the case with a number of other MMOs)

Hmm...Main quest is totaly solo...you are phased from everyone else...I predicted something like that before.
In case the MMO aspect doesn't appeal you can still complete the main quest and explore a bit all alone...kinda reminds me of SWTOR...loads of people where only interested in the story and neglected everything else. If the game is rubbish in the multiplayer area I guess I can still try it for the main quest and a bit of exploring without being disturbed by anyone.

I like the set up so far. However my main concerns remain unaddressed. The Lore. If they can put that concern to rest somehow then you will see some true fandom unity. All I really are about is the lore. If they give explanations that make sense then I will be inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. If they don't? Well my money can be better spent elsewhere.
