I wanted to see which class would fare best in very dangerous situations so I hacked maxed chars to see which one is best. The assassin's maxed out sneak wasn't put to full use and the mage without the master level conjuring would get owned. What do you guys think?

i am rolling a thief type because mage is simply too easy, even on master.

Every problem = lightning in the face and i win, dont even need any other spells

Doesn't fire do more damage due to the secondary effect?

dont need summons
dont need illusions
restoration sometimes when i get hit

I mean all the other magic schools do have GREAT and cool spells... but they arent NEEDED, lightning in the face solves ALL problems TOOOO EASELLY

even bosses, just lightning in the face, and back to cover

So which were best and worse.

You need daggers and dark brotherhood gloves as the assassin. You will 1 shot everything, and with the shadow warrior talent you can sneak attack while in combat.

Def like mage but im not max level yet but almost, don't recommend doing level up cehats yo uwill screw yoru perks.


at 40+ chain lightign with right gear, Elv racial and gettign the magika boosts and talos boost will level any enemy group fast, as well as elemental storms.

The destruction chain spell looked interesting but besides that didn't see anything else really fancy.
I'd say these would be among the best things to get a perk with.


Mage
Conjure ___ Useful for anything but overall just entertaining to use
Enchant ___ Two enchants on one item is really good
Destruction ___ Chain does seem good
Restoration ___ Increase magic regain is good enough

Warrior
Heavy armor ___ Take little damage
Smith ___ Make dragon armor

Assassin
Bow ___ Enough to zoom
Sneak ___ enough to 3x with box
Bow ___ It's useful if you don't want to run in or chase

The chain spell is not the more potent spells. Hell master level blizzard is more devastating. Watch aoe on friendlies in a town, it can back fire.

That sounds more like a specific daily power being powerful not the spell. Chain lightning does what 40 damage, 60 if perked, you don't think rogues and warriors rock that easily? People have come up with ways for the rogue to hit for 1,000 damage and he can spam it while basically being invisible.

maybe I don't know how to play rogue but I don't find sneaking that effective.

If I worked on alchemy I could get it much higher. And I don't even have all the one handed damage increase perks. Plus I get a bunch of cool spells and have about 500 armor rating in my daedric.

Yeah, there is a thread on doing 1,000 damage it seems kind of insane to me. I was playing on my friends game and he goes thief and honestly even at only 35 sneak when you use a bow it is insane how many shots you can get off before anyone finds you if you back peddle when needed. Fully perked and at 100 skill I doubt anyone will ever find you if you stick with the bow.
