Hi, I'm just wanting to know if a Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.5-2.6Gz is fine to run oblivion well, assuming all other equipment is decent. I used to run it on a Intel Q6600 2.66Ghz quad core fine, but im just wondering. The temporary computer i'm looking at is pretty cheap, and i'll replace it when i get some money, i'm just after an opinion as to if it will be ok.

Should be more than fine, but yes...that is assuming your video card is up to snuff as well.

I'm still running it (heavily modded, with pretty extreme graphics) with a C2D, and Oblivion seems to like it well enough.
