asus live updates has destroyed my drivers

my gaming computer is no longer able to play games since last night when liveupdates made changes to my drivers.

ive since uninstalled liveupdates but at this point i think i am going to have to do a system restore.

I don;t know how to find out all of the drivers which were changed, i know that my display adapters and moniter drivers were either updated to or replaced by "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and "Generic Non-PnP Monitor"

neither allow me to roll them back, i thought about disabling them to see if that would revert my setting back to their previous state but to be honest i fear that would cause serious harm. i don't know what i am doing when it comes to drivers.

My problems that i have discovered thus far are:

Screen resolution issues; with every thing, especially web pages. my resolution is set to 1280x1024 (as i recall i used to be able to set it higher than that) and every thing is awkwardly proportioned.

with web pages every thing is way to zoomed in, i can pinch and zoom out but then every thing looks way to wide and short.

Some of my games like minecraft simply will not start now, citing issues with my video card drivers.

i am discovering more and more issues as i go. Unless some one has a better idea i am going to do a system restore.
