EGM is reporting (http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/has-take-two-interactive-killed-the-major-league-baseball-2k-franchise/) that MLB2k12 may be the last MLB2K game ever. Apparently Take-Two's license with the MLB ends in 2013 and they have said 2K12 will be the last game as part of that license and they also said that in two years financial losses associated with the MLB2k series will reach 0, which seems to say they will no longer make any MLB2k games.

Therefore there could possibly not be a MLB game for the Xbox next year.

I have no interest in the EA baseball games. I love Madden and FIFA, but 2K has always been the leader in baseball and basketball games...

Never cared much for sports games.

For me sports games are the best kind of game there is because it's always exciting and different and you have a chance to truly create your own story through franchise mode, and the present real challenges, not just some system you have to learn to master to 'beat' the game.
