So it seems that everyone in Skyrim hates magic because of the oblivion crisis the thalmor and the great collapse. It seems it's spread all the way to Cyrodiil as well since i've only seen battlemages during the first level. What are your thoughts on this new outlook on magic.

Warrior cultures in TES games have always mistrusted magic IIRC. In Oblivion a Reguard says magic is seen the same way in Hammerfell, and I've yet to encounter an Orcish mage either.
