Ah damnit I don't have enough money to buy the new DLC costume pack :(

I either have to go to the store to get a psn card (of which I'm too lazy to do) or use my credit card

How restricted am I in adding funds to my PSN account? If I just want to add $5 or something could I (as far as using my credit card)?

I think you have to add a minimum of $20 to your PlayStation wallet. I could be wrong though.

The first DLC pack gives you the Captain's Armour which is great... if you're a fighter.

Not as bit a deal if you're not a fighter.

Slightly comedic if your main character's a woman and your pawn is a male fighter because the equipment appears to be locked to your main character's gender (on a plus side you will unlock an achievement for slapping it on your fighter fella).

The 2nd DLC is equipment for all the classes that should have special effectiveness against certain enemies.

The weapons might appear slightly inferior to your maxed out gear but then you need to keep in mind that this equipment can be raised to 3 Star status.

The 20 extra quests seem to be standard "Kill X amount of this creature or that creature" and you'll find new quests on noticeboards, notably in the Pub in the Gran Soren Marketplace.

The Gear appears to be actual DLC that you need to download.

The Quests appear to be on disc already because despite their larger size, they download in a split second.

Capcom have acknowledged that they had some disc locked DLC and apologised. They promise to change this practice int he future and say the decision to move away from disc locked content was made after this content was already added.

I have had issues with other Capcom DLC but not really this one.

Also if you miss the "gear" DLC I wouldn't say you've missed out on any "game changing items".

Hope that's helpful

Well, the demo was quite interesting, fight with a Gryphon. Grabbing, holding, and attacking, like a more action-oriented version of Shadow of the Colossus ^_^ Are there plenty of such big monsters to kill?

Gryphons, ogres, cyclops, chimera, some freaky glowing golem thing, and of course the dragons. There may be more, but I haven't advanced the main quest in forever because I'm OCD about completing the worthless side quests before I do. :P
