Rank your top 5 albums!

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 6:33 am

I was interested in hearing about the musical tastes of my fellow forum members, now when ranking your albums, dont go with what you think is the best of all time, but simply the ones you enjoy listening too the most.

1. Kid A (Radiohead) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAF8D0ugyVk
2.The Soft Bulletin (The Flaming Lips) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1GtKOnq5sk
3.Ok,Computer (Radiohead) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tejkhFyjoGE
4.Remain in Light (Talking Heads) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFLiKLoxWD8
5.Animals (Pink Floyd) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcV4B-74pDk

Edit. post a link to a song from the album, so others can have a listen

nice to see another radiohead fan, the only thing keeping me from putting OK,Computer ahead of Kid A is "Motion picture soundtrack" the funny thing is, when i first listened to Kid A i hated it.

I'd also rank The Bends above Kid A personally. Kid A has its moments, but I prefer the band's rock stuff.

To each his own, for some reason, i really like all of Kid A, seemed really cohesive, as if each song was just a piece in a bigger picture. OK,Computer was also like this to some extent, but Kid A has an effect on me unlike most others, really makes me emotional, but i may be looking into it more then intended.

1) Piper at the Gates of dawn - Pink Floyd
2) The Wall...maybe Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
3) Clouds Taste Mettalic - The Flaming Lips
4) Frizzle Fry - Primus
5) Led Zeppelin II - Led Zeppelin

Pretty much in that order, although I really do love Syd's solo albums as well, even though I didn't rank them.
