When I really think of video games, I feel like there are aren't just that many video games. Maybe because I compare it with how many movies there are or something. But maybe it's just that I think about how many video games there are just like Fallout 3 or Skyrim that has so many different facets to a single game and so vast in quality at the same time. Is it me or are there just not that many video games out and I mean elite ones like the ones I mentioned and only many mini games. I'd like to know a fact on this conclusion. Thanks.

There's THOUSANDS of video games. And following your same line of thought, one could say there aren't many movies because many pale in comparison to movies like 'The Sawshank Redemption' or 'The Goodfellas'.

There are tons of video games, when consoles came out they basically had a production line churning out games, i can go look at the walls of the games stores and they are covered in console games, most are just trash old style arcade games, but there still video games.
