Patch for POTC

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 8:02 pm

Can a patch please be made so that Pirates of the Caribbean can be played on Windows 7. I really like this game and was the first game i played that was made by Bethesda Softworks.

Thanks.

What happens when you try to run it. It only came out 6 years ago.

Don't allow it to install in either of the Program Files folders.
Run it in Admin mode.
Run it in XP Service Pack 2 or 3 mode.

It's apparently not the OS, but your graphics card.

Maybe that thread can help?
As a rule, Pirates Ahoy! has the most prominent (only? Not sure  ) English language PotC community still around. You'd probably get better results asking there than asking here.

That's cool. I've never heard of SwiftShader before. *adds to notes*

Thanks from here too Doubler.

The ffdshow codec mentioned in that link caused problems with Morrowind too.
