I don't get that lucky, with the exception of arrows, every piece of Daedric weaponry/armor I have is because I forged it.

I don't remember finding any Daedric gear before level 40 or so, but on my first ever character I found an Ebony helmet at level 7. I was convinced it was hand-placed loot until I went back later with a new character only to discover that it wasn't there that time.

I agree. The only thing that should be affected is damage. Which would depend on your skill and chosen perks. ( I hope I explained that right. lol)

Is it true you never level up?

Can't remember what level I was when I got the Mace of Molag Bal and the Sanguine Rose, but probably mid-30s to mid-40s. As far as "regular" Daedric items go, not a jot apart from Arrows. I'm level 60 now.

Last time I got a dagger I was at 42~46 not sure... found inside a falmer chest.

I've found Ebony shields around Level 10, too bad I was a Mage.

Yes, i like the challenge ... As for the daedric gear, i've never found any as random loot at level 1, but i did manage to get a few useful daedric artifacts (without cheating of course) ...

Does a 'Conjure Deadric Sword' book count? Cos in that case, level 4. You bet your bum I used it too!
