So this girl that I like invited me to go swing dancing, and this is going to happen in like 3 hours... I'm not the greatest dancer but I'm not what I'd call bad, but I have never even watched or attempted swing dancing before! I'm not expecting some miracle cure that will make me a great swing dancer, but I don't want to ruin the night for her by being terrible at it what should I do?

Tell her you can't swing dance? Look up some tutorials on YouTube?

Stop worrying about it. Girls like confident guys so just svck it up and dance with her even if you're not the best dancer in the world.

Firstly if you tell her you've not done it before I am sure she will be understanding. Relax and I am sure you'll have a lovely time.

Or... you could get bandages/crutches and wrap your leg, go along but agologise that you took a tumble and can no longer dance, you don't mind watching her dance with otherpeople though. Then watch in a corner.

Don't attempt to swing her around your back like that though, bad things will happen.

If it was me I'd ask if we could spare an hour or so beforehand so she could show me some moves. Would be quite fun and would provide an opportunity to get to know each other a little better

Any GENIUS would know that the proper way to swing dance with a woman is by having yourself grab her by one arm, and have a friend grab the other. Than you both pull on her in opposite directions with ALL YOUR MIGHT. When she starts screaming, you know its because she's having a diddily-fun time!

All you have to do is find a way to entertain the damsel, so start with the swing dancing, than move on to something else that turns her into a giggly googly-eyed freak that will be like:

"TEEHEEHEE! OH MY GAWD AVENGEDSEVENFOLD2012! You are like, SOOOOOOOOOO funny! "
