Who else liked this game ?

I personally got this game because it was a Bethesda game. Beth barley dissapoints in my opinnion. My first impressions were that it was an OK co-op game. When i started playing the campaign i quickly grew bored of it. I has you running back and forth fetching items. The comabat is alright, and the multiplayer could be better. This game seemed to have a lot of potential. Any opinnions ?

Actually, id Software created the game. Bethesda just published the game. Ya know, id Software... the guys who created Wolf 3d and Doom.

Beth barley dissapoints in my opinnion.

See the response above.

When i started playing the campaign i quickly grew bored of it. I has you running back and forth fetching items.

That's like... 99.3% of every single game.

The comabat is alright, and the multiplayer could be better. This game seemed to have a lot of potential. Any opinnions ?

The "comabat" you speak of is the best of any recent FPS I can remember. Every time a mutant would charge and I would lob it's head off with a wingstick and then turn around and blast another one into the wall, I smiled. You are right on one point... this game does have amazing potential. It seems it was finished a little bit pre-mature to meet a deadline, but hopefully DLC will continue where the ending left off. The ending IMO was more of a cliff-hanger than a true end.

Rage is a gorgeous looking and hugely fun game. Pure arcade and comic book style action ...I wish there was more stuff like this. It has short comings because it didn't a have billion dollar budget. I'm with http://www.gamesas.com/user/713967-xcyberiumx/

Best console graphics rendering this generation. Just amazing to see what they got out of the 360. I hope Rage 2 is a possibilty because the IP is solid and has great potential, but releasing the game between Battlefield 3 and MW 3 did it's sales no favors at at all.

I liked it though it is a clusterf*ck to play on PC, i had tons of bugs, serious screentearing and lag (not because of my PC specs) but after the latest patch it became playable though still pretty buggy but yeah i want too see a sequel but expect better work not only good but amazing like they should be able to create.

Played the 360 version. Great game! Great graphics and animations!
The combat system is nice. You can beat the enemies with lots of different tactics by cleverly using your resources.
I also like the hub system with missions scattered around the town like the latest Wolfenstein which was pretty similar in game design and kicked *** the same way.

I thought it was the worse game ever , I quickly got my refund afterwords because of all the negative reviews I read which made me realize they were true while playing the game.

Agreed, either you have played the greatest games of all time, or you havent played any games, or you absolutely hate first person shooters and had never tried one before, cos worst game ever really is quite a claim... You've obviously never played Star Wars Knights OF The Old Republic. (It may have gotten great reviews, but I personally hate the damn thing, I uninstalled wihtin half an hour of playing it) :P

Lmfao xD
Your perception of what a good game is must be all f*cked up.
If you think Rage is among the worst games then you must've loved Duke Forever, and that would make you sadly foolish.

I mean really, for [censored]'s sakes, have you really played that many games? You have no idea how amazing Rage is in comparison to tons of games.

AS for the topic here,

I LIKED THE GAME :)

And yes, there is more untapped potential in the game, so hopefull Rage2 will hit on that.

For somebody that calls himself "Menschenhass" (misanthropy in english, ->hating mankind) you seem to be heavily influenced by the opinions of the ones you hate.
People get biased very easily by what they read or hear. That's why propaganda works....

Are you one of those who can't stand head bobbbing and/or need a FOV that's 100+?

I loved the game despite serious problems with the PC drivers, an ending that svcks, and gameplay that is not terribly demanding. Some people say Id games are more like engine demos and that's not too far from the truth. The engine is beautiful, super fast, has vast untapped potential, and the animations are awesome making me eager to see what they do with Doom 4 and subsequent games. They've got all the right pieces and if assembled correctly it could become another Id classic.

I liked the game just fine. Didn't have any driver issues, it performed great, my only gripe is that it's too short and the ending needed to have more meat to it.

I liked Rage a lot. It is my favorite id game ignoring the nostalgia I have when it comes to Doom or quake.

I was a bit dissapointed by the game too, I was expecting it to be a little more like Fallout. It was in some ways but there was just something about the game that I really didn't like. A longer storyline would have been better and if it was a little less like Borderlands and more like Fallout..

@wuliheron, yep it's clear that games are engine tests, which you need to do to master the engine. Every engine test, however, I've seen from id, has been a good game. Not great, but good. Well, idk, Quake3 was pretty great, lol, and that was an engine test.

What! I don't even....

KotOR was one of the best games I've ever played. You barely gave it a chance if you didn't even play it more than an hour and get off of the first planet! You didn't even get to build your own lightsaber...

I loved Rage. I didn't get boring to me at all. As soon as I beat Skyrim's MQ, I'm gonna go back and playthrough Rage again.

Lol, I swear I am one of the only problem who properly hate that game. It was the movement, not the content. I foudn that the movement was probably the worst system i've used (it was so bad I looked up instructions and controls for the damn thing because I couldn't believe what I was playing). I'm guessing considering the amount of people that swear by it that there really was no problem with the movement and it neglected to tell me the controls... Yes, even with the start introduction of how to do things :P

So jsut to clarify, how exactly did the movement system work for you?

Hahah, the movement system in the game worked perfectly fine for me. :P It's a subjective thing I guess how a game plays, and you really lost out of a great game. I swear. :P

It looks like Fallout to a degree (but better, of course), and I think like many other people, I'd say plays more like BioShock in some ways. But Borderlands? I didn't feel like it was anything like Borderlands at all. I've played Borderlands, and I did not like it one bit.

Thank goodness for OnLive, that let's me try stuff for free xD
