werewolves and vampires?

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:29 am

so aside from the normal races. TES is known for vampires and werewolves as seen in most the games. what Im wondering is can we players become these legendary races. perhaps make them with teirs. a teir one vamoire is simular to that of the vanilla skyrim/oblivion vampires. than a teir two vampire is a more mutated face and stronger powers and the final teir is vampire lord simular to that of the dawngaurd vampire lords. and the same with werewolves. a teir one can only turn on a full moon but for a longer time. a teir two can turn once a day but only for a limeted time unless eats humanoids as of te skyrim type werewolf. and lastly the teir three that can turn at will and for as long as desired. each type has its pros and cons and would likely be a reagonal thing. the werewolves of skyrim are difrent than the werewolves of morrawind. and the same for the vampires...any thoughts?

No. Already been confirmed.

Actually, I see there's an interview out there that apparently says otherwise? I could have sworn they said in the podcast that they won't be having the ability to become a WW/Vamp.

It's the sort of features that can ruins the balance of the game or being pointless.

If you make vampires/werewolves too strong, it'll soon become mandatory no matter how hard it is to become one.The reverse is very true: if it's useless, all the dev's work can be thrown in the trashcan (not a pleasant thought).

What? Where'd you get your info? According to http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1380040-werewolves-and-vampires/ devs are at the least looking to implement these two diseases in.

Indeed, they want to add both, but it's hard. Everybody and their mother will want to be one, myself included. They'll really need some major drawbacks to keep regular folks a preferable choice. I feel Skyrim did vampires very well (for a single-player game), though at later levels the drawbacks are very easy to overcome.

It's possible they decided to do away with it then, especially if that podcast is more recent then that interview. I doubt it though, one of the two leads wanted the two diseases in and was pretty firm about it.

Please continue discussion in this http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1380040-werewolves-and-vampires/. No need to have multiple threads on exactly the same topic

Thanks,
