Until Skyrim, I had never "pre-ordered" anything in my life. I finally did it with Skyrim (but only about 2-3 days in advance so I could pre-load it on Steam). And of course, ended up that I didn't play Skyrim for very long (found it boring...).
So....back to not pre-ordering. Altho, if there was some awesome gift they gave you for doing so, I might consider it. Like the extra class for BL2. But then again, I'm becoming a bit annoyed at this whole "if you want the whole game, pre-order!" routine. Just give me that "extra" class in a DL/patch "when it's available" to begin with, why does it make a difference if I order it beforehand or pay (full) price a week after release? So they can trumpet release day sales figures? Bah.
