Preordering Dead Space 3

Post » Mon Jun 25, 2012 5:15 pm

Anyone going to? If no one found the link to do so, go ahead and preorder your PS3 Copy ( or Xbox and PC :( )
Go www[dot]deadspace[dot]com/buy - I can't post links.

I might but now that I played RAGE I might wait til it actually releases, finding better games these days :P

Jesus! There's a third one. God, the second one made me [censored] my pants during some moments.

Eh, DS2 wasn't scary, to myself. I expect DS3 to be an average RPG, no horror, just badass looking mobs. I want more horror though.

2 was only mediocre, in my opinion.

It was a linear corridor shooter especially since none of the levels were reused to generate a feeling of cohesive whole. I never got the feeling that I was actually in a space station. it had tasteless dialogue and cheap 'shock value' gimmicks. The eye piercing bit made no sense. Hell, just about all of the set pieces were more 'why am I doing this?' than scary. Isaac saying '[censored]' repeatedly every time something happened annoyed me. The [censored] crazy guy annoyed me. Nothing scary about ear piercing static and glare.

2 lacked any subtlety or depth.

Splinter Cell isn't a stealth game anymore.

I loved DS1 and am yet to get to DS2. I want to, but I take a very long time with games and I have so many on my personal queue, who knows when I'll get there. I have to admit though, I'm not too wild about what I've been hearing on part 3, that it's more action-heavy and all.

I hope we don't have a Resident (Black Hawk Down) Evil 5 situation on our hands. Hopefully a good portion of the terror is still in tact.

Yes. It's a shame Splinter Cell is now a action game. :(

Conviction was better then Double Agent though. The original Splinter Cell was the best.
