Ear problem

Post » Wed Jun 27, 2012 1:11 pm

Since it just started happening a few moments ago I thought about posting this.

Every once in a while my ear will feel like it popped, then I can hear my heart beat in one of my ears for 10-30 minutes. I can sort of feel it too, but not much. It used to happen a lot 1-2 years ago, but not really anymore. I also used google (probably shouldn't have) a while ago and one thing said it was just some harmless condition, and something else said there was a tumor somewhere, I'm putting my money on the non serious condition as it has happened for a few years.

So has anyone ever experienced this, or know what it is?

I did. It's nothing much and usually passes over time. And don't google things like this. It's always a tumor or some sort of flesh eating bacteria >_>

Earwig munching on something.

Chew some gum or stop laying on your ear.

I try to be rather thorough when searching google. It seems that part of the problem is that only the tumor people answer the people's questions, while the non serious people don't care to go on a website like that.

I think if it was an earwig it wouldn't be my heart beat. I can feel my heart with my finger and it matches the beating in my ear.

Hm, I guess during my next physical I will bring it up, I have once of those soon.

i have a ear like that for the past 3-4 years & no doctor has really tried to help in fact to closest I got to help was a hearing aid for my good ear.

do you have a "white noise" effect & muffled outside sound with that ear?

I guess I will cross my fingers for a helpful doctor, otherwise I will just go with it I guess.
