MLP is actually an acute form of highly effective indoctrination of the minds of young advlts(especially men). The ultimate goal of the MLP Fellowship is to indoctrinate male followers in order build an army and secure the Heart of Lorkhan. Using Wraithguard, Keening, and Sunder, the Bronies desire to extract the heart and ascend to God-hood. It is suspected that the Bronies are telepathically controlled by some form of a Gravemind or Proto-Gravemind. The true origins of their leader is unknown. Be advised, even moments of watching MLP:FIM can cause instantaneous, irreversible indoctrination. You have been warned.
