alot of places i go in skyrim there is lots of talk about the great war and the thalmor,and alot of the talk was about how the emperor just signed the white gold concordat just to stall the thalmor and wait for another time to attack. another thing i found was that the thalmor describe the war as the first war with the empire,this suggest not onley do the thalmor intend a second great war but have already begun a plan on how it can be exucuted.also clues in skyrim gameplay include---there are a few books describing the true nature of the thalmor and there invasion of settlements,legionaries will often say the nords often forget that the empire is the onley thing keeping the empire out of skyrim,galmor stone fist will tell you after defeating the legion will say the thalmor are next, now the whole point of this forum for me is that i think for a future skyrim dlc this might be good because i didient really like the whole civil war quest because it was the same side fighting each other and not the thalmor.and regardless of what side you chose in the civil war this could still be playable not only because the stormcloaks drove the empire out of skyrim doesnt mean the got rid of the empire, the the two sides can still team up, but i think to make thing more interesting maybe if they did make a second great war that they could have you choose sides between fighting for the thalmor and destroying the empire once and for all or fighting for the empire and destroying the thalmor. kind of like the dawnguard questline.
