What, I didn't quite understand you. Did you buy a new apartment, only to have the old one sold?

No i put the down payment on a house
atm i live in a duplex
but the people sold it to some other people right as i was getting ready to move, i get my down payment back but im pissed off

Sounds like he had the money for a new house and it got sold as he was getting ready to do the paperwork or something. The owners must have gotten a better deal and cancelled the sale to the OP. *shrug* Atleast that's what i'm getting from it imho.

Ah, now I get it. That must svck, aren't the owners obliged to honour your deal, considering you were halfway through paperwork?
