As we all know, Bethesda Softworks makes amazing role-playing games, and I would like for them to usher a new epic creation into this gaming world. The Walking Dead game could be a Skyrim/Fallout-like role playing game, in which you start out by customizing your character's looks and skills, like Fallout's S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills, and these determine your skills with medicine, melee, firearms, and so on. As you progress, you can find a stronghold, or safe house if you will, and rally survivors. Said survivors will either like you or not based on the decisions that you make throughout the game. You can leave to find supplies, survivors, or just to roam freely, but your survivors will be overrun, starve, or move on without you to a new location if you take too long. Other survivors that you find could be bandits trying to kill you for supplies, or even try to be accepted into your group to kill you all from the inside, so be careful.
For some suggestions, each skill should have sub-skills, like branches of the skill. For instance, guns have rifles, pistols, and shotguns.
It has come to my attention that there are, in fact, other Walking Dead games. Of these, there is a point-and-click, and one still under development by Activision, if I am not mistaken. Activision will try and turn this into yet another mindless shooter, like it did with Call of Duty. Bethesda, however, can turn this into a definite Game of the Year that will revolutionize zombie games forever. All they have to do is take Fallout, set it in modern times, and replace mutants with zombies and bandits, perhaps with multiplayer (please?). Please leave any ideas in the comments section. I really would like for this to become a reality!
