Looking to purchase a new HDD, need some advice.

Right, so with my Steam library bulging from the summer sale, I've come across a rather large problem. A 671 gigabyte problem. I don't even have all of my games installed, and it's eating up most of my terabyte drive. At this point, I'm running out of things to delete.

So I'm really looking for a good, large drive that I can install nothing but games to. I'm somewhat clueless when it comes to hard drives, so any and all information will be helpful.

Thanks!

I recently picked up 2 of these drives for my media server.

Very nice drives.

Does not come with a SATA cable, so you will need to buy one if you dont have a spare.

Very nice, although I may consider the 3TB drive over the 2TB... Not sure. Are there any concerns of data loss with larger drives?

Not particularly, but if a 3TB drive does fail it just means there is the potential for more data on the disk that is lost.

Does your motherboard support drives over 2.2TB? When you install it make sure to choose GPT in the Windows Partition editor.
