I'm a bit late to this, but annoyingly my issue does seem a bit unique.

I bought RAGE off Steam, but have yet to actually play it without risking an seizure. As soon as I get control, the game randomly flickers red, green or blue noise over the screen. It's as if it periodically switches to a grainly version of predator vison every couple of steps, making it pretty much unplayable.

I found loads on complaints about issues, but they were all pop in or texture flickering related. Regardless, I tried the *.cfg fix and it seemed to fix the game for a bit. But when I closed it an reopened - the problem was back and the cfg file no longer having an effect.

I've got a 7800 ATI card and although many fixes say roll back to previous drivers, I can't as the current drivers have fixed a load of other issues I was having.

Any ideas of a proper fix or if I'm entitled to any sort of refund off anyone?
