A few questions about Diablo III, if you can please answer.

I was about to get Diablo III. After seeing the specs my laptop is on the low end. I have a dual core 2.0 with 4 gigs or ram and a Nvidia 9600M GT graphics card. I went on the SR Test and it said I was on the low end. Yes I know it's not really reliable so I wanted to make sure and ask here. Also can someone who has Diablo III, post some screen shots of how Medium or Low settings look. This way if I do get it, I will not be disapointed since all I see is high end pics.

So I try to go on the Official Diablo III forums, and WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't post since I don't have a character made? How am I suppose to ask questions about the game before I buy? That is really fracked up. So I am trying to do my research and all I see, is that Diablo III is a crappy game. I want to make sure this isn't just disgruntled players or the maybe the game didn't really live up to it's hype. But after doing some reading, and the haters are saying they logged in over 400 hours in less than 2 months. So if the game is bad, why play more than a 100 hours? Also that much gaming in what 2 months, I can see any game becoming boring. So did Diablo III live up to the hype and reviews? I find it pretty bad, people stopped playing Diablo III after 2 months of release when people are still playing Diablo II after 10 years.

So my question is, since I only play games slowly, is Diablo III really that bad and boring? I will not be logging in 100s of hours in a month maybe 4-10 hours a week depending how life is treating me. Will I find Diablo III boring to play after 40 hours?

A few more questions after reading the fourms on Blizzard but can't ask there since it will not let me since I don't have the game. What is this bots people are talking about? Does this mean a computer is playing Diablo III for the person to just get money? WTF is this? Why is Blizzard letting this happen? I thought Blizzard said this "online economy" will be fun and FAIR for EVERYONE. This doesn't sound fair or fun at all.

Are the drops really that bad now? If I get the game, do I even bother patching the game, or does the game get patched automatically now like Steam games?

I am wondering if I should be dropping down $70 for the game, or just go back to Diablo II.

I've owned Diablo II since the early 2000's and am still playing it, even now. Mods exist to change things up; I'd recommend Median XL and Eastern Sun. Can't say anything about the third game, but there's quite lot of conflicting opinions regarding it.

I would wait for D3 to be on sale or something. It's not worth full price. Very disapointing game.
