"A beautiful village" he thought to himself.
Now this wood Elf hunter is mostly the law abiding type, but for reasons unknown to him he found himself in Hilde the old women's house late one night.
"You shouldn't be in here" she told him, "You are trespassing get out" she shouted.
Saeron quickly left without saying a word and hoped that the old women hadn't got a good look at him, he certainly didn't want to upset the locals.
However, the following night after spending the day in a local nearby mine, Saeron returned to Riverwood to rest and sell his loot.
no sooner had he got into view of the village he ws attacked by three unknown thugs, well he had no choice but to run at this point and quickly headed for the river and swam across where he managed to hide. Unfortunately the three pursuers where on the other side of the river bank looking for him. he could hear them shouting, evidently these folk were not going to give up, probably till he was dead.
"Who are they, what do they want with him"? he thought.
Saeron kept hidden and waited patiently for the right moment to attack, he shot his bow at one thug, hitting him but he didn't go down. he was still hidden which was good so he shot off another arrow and this time the thug collapsed on the ground dead.
One down just two more. It was almost daylight when he had killed all his pursuers, he slowly stood up and walked towards the first and checked the body, one particular item caught his eye, a contract note.
Saeron slowly read the note and was shocked, The old women Hilde had put a contract out for his death just because he was found in her home.
This seemed a bit harsh, he would have paid some gold to Hilde for compensation if only she had spoke to him.
The days and nights that followed passed by quickly but the thought of this contract was heavy on Saeron's conscience, he had vowed to teach the old lady a lesson, nothing as bad as she had done to him but a lesson all the same.
He had seen a lot of things during his adventures so far and many changes had come of him. He decided to finally confront this Hilde woman and ask her why the need for so drastic action, to have him killed.
One evening he returned to Riverwood and entered the old lady's house, she was alone. He asked in a calm manner about the events that had occured. She wouldn't listen, an argument broke out, saeron felt his anger becoming stronger and then it happened, he couldn't control it.
Slowly he began to change, into what could only be described as a hideous monster, a lycanthrope, a werewolf, a creature only spoke about in myth.
The old women screamed and ran for the door, Saeron let out a hollowing howl and quickly lept on the woman, tearing and mauling at her flesh. Finally she lay dead, blood gushing out from all over her body. Before fleeing the house saeron feasted on the body, he ran out the door and quickly headed for the river with guards in hot pursuit. He was lightning quick and managed to lose the guards with infinite ease.
It wasn't long before he woke under a tree in the small wood, trying to get his bearings he realised he had no clothes or armour, his mind flashied with sudden images, "what happened"? he thought. He fell asleep there and it wasn't until morning when he awoke, he felt something wrong but wasn't sure what, he slowly made his way back to Riverwood and passing the old woman's house saw the horde of people stood there with shock on their faces seemingly not noticing this naked elf walking by, mumbling about some death in the night. Heading for his horse he quickly grabbed some clothes and put them on.
It wasn't until Riverwood was far out of sight that it dawned on him and he realised what he had done, he had become the beast, he had killed Hilde. Saeron wasn't sure how he felt, but one thing was sure, he had taught the old woman a lesson, revenge was sweet?
I'm enjoying my roleplay but just finding it a bit strange doing it alone

So I hope you don't mind me writing this short story about one of my main roleplaying events
