Did they fix this? (Maybe Spoilers)

I remember when Skyrim first came out there was a glitch where the Daedric boots you got from the Atronach forge would screw you over.

From what I've heard, no it's not fixed. The boots you get are not the PC Daedric Boots, but rather, the boots that I think the Xivilai wear, and are unusable by the PC.
