Special weapon needed vs. ghostswraiths etc.

Is there a mod that requires the player to use silver or enchanted weapons vs. non-corporeal beings such as ghosts, wraiths and the like? That's how it was in Oblivion, and it makes sense that it should be in Skyrim. I searched for such a mod, but came up empty. Any suggestions?

I remember the haunted ship in Oblivion , I was the brave hero who entered without fear.
After a few short minutes I ran to the opposite direction of the city creeped out like I saw Dagon.

I haven't heard of such a mod, and though it's never going to happen, I'm hoping Bethesda will just make it so that ghosts can only be hit with special weapons (Daedric, Daedric artifacts, silver, and Bound weapons come to mind).

It's not like ghosts are especially common anyway, so I don't think it's a major inconvenience to make them harder to put down.

How did magic affect ghosts in Oblivion?

I think it doesn't work as well considering the only non-corporial beings are wisps. They need to bring back the ghosts and liches from Oblivion.

There are ghosts actually , and they pretty creepy too..
But I agree , only special weapons should work on them , also magic does work.

There aren't that many ghosts to start with anyway. We need more ghostly enemies.

Well, ghost occur pretty infrequently, only in specified instances, it's not like they have any ghost dungeons. Also, some of these ghosts are not even enemies.

Also, part of the problem is that silver isn't a full fledged weapon material. I mean, there is a greatsword and regular sword as part of the silver hand quest, but you only see silver hand in the companion questline. It's not like silver is on par steel or elven or any of that.

If that's the problem, then logically the solution is to make spirits more prevalent and silver weapons more viable, rather than doing nothing and leaving everything lacking on all counts.

Skyrim seems like it should have more supernatural goings on. I mean, it's not like the Nords are steeped in science and reason. You SHOULD be hearing ghost tales or stories about nearly being mauled by a werebear when you enter taverns, not another rendition of "Ragnar the Red."

SPOILERS:
Some non-corporeal beings in Skyrim are the Corrupted Shades in Meridia's temple, the few Lichs that show up here and there, the ghost warriors at end of Companion Quest and a few others I'm forgetting. Not as many as Oblivion, true.

In Oblivion and Morrowind, spells and enchanted weapons did their normal damage to ghosts, wraiths, wisps, and other ethereal enemies. So did Daedric and Silver weapons. Unenchanted weapons simply did nothing to ethereal creatures. Making your first level warrior armed with an iron sword helpless if he walked into a dungeon filled with ghosts (been there, done that in both Morrowind and Oblivion).

One of the big differences with Oblivion is that Silver was a regular weapon class (like Dwarven, Elven, Ebony, etc...). It was not like in Skyrim, where they are just a curiosity weapon only used by that werewolf hunter faction. So there were a lot of silver weapons in Oblivion if you were at the right level.
