So far the best game I've ever played when it comes to roleplaying a mage is Morrowind because of all the spell possibilities and enchantments you can make. I'm thinking about getting Two Worlds II (the spell system looks cool how you combine spells and effects) but is there a bettter game I should consider for being able to make the hardest mage possible? In short what games have THE BEST magic systems? Points are also rewarded for being a great game overall as well.

I would say it like this

Games where it is fun to play as a mage


Elder scrolls V Skyrim, Dragon age Origins 1, Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Might and magic 7, not to be confused with HEROES of might and magic, Nverwinter Nights 1 and the expansion where you are in the desert. Neverwinter Nights 2.

I enjoyed magic in Dragon's Dogma, and all of the Elder Scrolls games have very nice magic systems.

TES has a good magic system, but Skyrims is awful. You have to break the game in order to compete.

What about BioShock? It's not technically magic, but Skyrim's magic system was influenced by it...
