Really hope they have seperate profile style saves for each

Just lost my saves on quick save the other night of my lvl 50 destruction mage =.=

managing saves when playing multiple character can really mess up saving habit (especially when i have close to 15 different saves for 15 different characters :S

A seperate file would be nice when working on multiple characters.

It would be nice to have a way to categorize your saves so it would be more difficult to lose your files.

Just slow down your pace when you save and make hard saves because they are not as reliable as a hard save.

Agreed. Wish it worked like Mass Effect's saves. Each character gets there own save files. I accidently saved over my Breton mage so I had to delete him because the last save before that one was...quite far behind.

already got sort of categorizing on saving files by using console "save " but sometime can easily forgot about it by accident T_T

Very true it would be so much simpler if there was something in the base game that let you divide the files across all three platforms. It would get very irritating to constantly open the console to keep updating your save files.

Um.

Wow.

Is it really that difficult to make multiple save files that you have to have it automated?

And people wonder why games are getting dumbed down.

Never ever rely on an autosave. Always make a hard save. I always save at least twice in a row when I'm juggling multiple characters. That way if I accidently overwrite one of them I'll have another. I always write my save numbers for each seperate character down on little sticky notes too, just in case. :goodjob:

Its not difficult but there was a discussion several months ago about putting saves in different folders for when you get dozens of characters.

Oh please, forgive us oh great mighty one who keeps a keen eye on all of his saves. You're by far too amazing for us, or this thread to comprehend. You may now go somewhere else and be godly there!

For we know it's not difficult, but you mind as well seperate the saves because when you have 20 characters, it's a pain in the ass to scroll all the way down and up to load and save some of the save files and be organized! We're not worthy!

In the mean-time always have two saves each per character. I end up doing the same thing pretty often and that is why I make two slots each now while the saving is the way it currently is.

Problem of this approach is making save list growing very big over time. I often prefer to have one save as a progress and one hard save for certain check point if necessary.

Its got nothing to do with "dumbing down" its about providing a user interface that doesnt svck. User interfaces are supposed to be simple and easy to use. Having multiple characters wtih various stages of saves to work around crucial games bugs means you end up with loads of saves and no way to sort them.
