What is your favorite Strategy games?

For me, it's Stronghold Crusader on the top list. I have to build Woodcutter's Hut to produce woods and woods to produce weapons and weapons to create armies. I just love this game cyles. But Stronghold 1, 2, and 3 is just scraps for me. I really hate it.

In second line, it would be Company of Heroes.

And in the third, maybe Earth Empire II or Red Alert 3.

How about you? Do you like strategy games too? And what it would be? Mind to share? ;p

Red Alert 2 was my favourite strategy game as a kid. It had fun units, funny voices and wasn't particularly complicated. Nowadays I prefer Total War games, particularly Medieval 2, because mods.

I bought Dawn of War and both expansion packs for £2.49 during the steam sale and I've been playing those. Its much better than Dawn of War 2, it has base building and battles are on a much bigger scale. Seeing 100+ Imperial Guardsmen charging forward, pouring fire onto the enemy and falling by the dozen is great to watch.

Heroes of Might and Magic III. My all time favourite.

Other than that I don't really play strategy games. Except one fairly recent strategy game, Frozen Synapse, which I love.

I played it for about 5 hours, Frozen Synapse that is. I was pretty terrible and only really succeeded after restarting several times on each level. Only 4 hours in did I realise I could simulate the enemy's movements too.
