How do I change the load order of mods from the Steam worksh

Post » Sat Jul 28, 2012 5:21 pm

So some mods require me to load them first in my mod loading order for them to work properly but is there a way to load mods in a certain order without having to uninstall every mod and reinstalling them the way I want?

Please help~

Same way you do with ones that are not from there: it's based on the order in plugins.txt

I don't know how to change the order of mods from Skyrim nexus or anywhere else either though.

BOSS can handle that.

Load order is all determined based on the order they are listed in in plugins.txt, which is in some hidden directory in your local root folder for your user name in Windows.

I use the Nexus Mod Manager. Highlight a mod, then click the green Up or Down button.

BOSS? And where can I find the hidden directory? Also I don't know what a root folder is. Sorry I don't really know much technical stuff .-.

Worst case you can also use the Skyrim launcher to move mods up and down since it's why we even have a new load order system.
