Family Guy MMO Open Beta

Post » Sun Jul 29, 2012 7:41 am

Ok, so it's been a while since the http://www.familyguyonline.com/ thread was up so I decided it was time to bring it back up.

Now, I've only played this game for about 3 hours total, currently level 8 in game name Gnrfan.

From what I've gathered while playing it, it's going to be near impossible for somebody to straight up dedicate their life to this as people do with other MMO's.. I mean, of course for a bit it's fun and I've enjoyed what I've seen so far (of course, being a fan of Family Guy for a few years helps..)

They have some cool things in it, like the Wheelchair Monster where all the cripples combine and become the wheelchair monster on the episode with Big Pete's House of Munch, they have the Evil Chicken somewhere on here, and countless references to other episodes.

For some people waiting patiently on Guild Wars 2, I suggest playing this (note it is just a casual MMO and will not go as far as to satisfy you for long periods of time, in my opinion)

Anywho, if you're interested hit me up sometime, i'm usually on here while searching for a good team on Mass Effect

I don't think it's been up for that long, I remember them having a closed beta a few months ago I believe?

I was very impressed with the how smooth it ran and how it looked for a browser game. It was cool to kind of walk around the house in a 3D perspective too.

I don't think I could get attached to it, though.

I agree, it runs smoothly. Pretty easy to learn as well, but I also agree with not being able to get attached. It's fun to get on every now and then, I'll probaby check it out during events and such, assuming its still up and running
