Trespassing question and waiting question?

Post » Mon Jul 30, 2012 4:10 am

question : i know you cant take over some of the ppl houses when they die and use their homes to sleep in because it says you are trespassing but sometimes on my game it does let you use your Wait button which for me is great then i take over that house anyways, for who needs sleep when you are a werewolf hehe, but back to the point i haven't found any houses yet in Downstar, Falkreath, and Winterhold that will let me use the Wait command, have you guys found any houses to take over when the owners have died in these areas??? Oh yeah and it doesn't have to be a house in the middle of town im not picky i prefer the houses and farms outside the city walls too so any suggestions?? PS I am on xbox 360...

If you are friendly with the people of the house then it isn't called 'trespassing' (unless of course it was locked).

Unless the owners are outside and killed by dragons or something you can't 'take over the house'. Plus you'd have to be friends with them for it to not be trespassing.

For example: I did the mission for that one Redguard mercenary in Whiterun so when I go in his house for the Thieves Guild missions it wasn't considered trespassing.

There's a house near falkreath and a fort with a bar, it's not trespassing but it counts as stealing if you take the items, even though the owners are dead :/

You could live in the Alchemist's Shack if you wanted to, not much of a house but still...

Alchemist Shack is amazing, great little divide between the South and East of Skyrim, and sits right under the Throat of the World.

Nice profile pic.
I stay in that shack, I still find it funny that there's a bug in a jar...ah but me and my theories.

There are a number of small shacks like it, you just need to find them. They are in the wilds either in the middle of an area or on the edge of the map.
