Bethesda, who's roots lie with PC, have made it extremely clear that they prefer Xbox to any other platform. That's fine, but it is unprofessional that they release sloppy work on the PS3, and even more unprofessional to blame the console as an excuse. Timed exclusivity is also insulting, but going beyond the announced exclusive period is downright disrespectful. That says they'd rather not have any customers on PC and PS3. So if you are a fan, not just of Elder Scrolls but RPGs in general, and you play on PC and/or PS3, I think it is in your best interest to discontinue your support of Bethesda, and find another open-ended RPG to your liking, and then support the developers of that game instead. That is how consumers get what they want out of a capitalist market, they punish companies for grievances by withholding money. Angry emails, even posts on public forums like this one are meaningless if people go to the store and give Bethesda their cash. The only way Bethesda is going to understand that they are doing a terrible job is if they release Dawnguard on PC and PS3 and it flops. So please, unless you like this kind of treatment, Elder Scroll fans on PC and PS3, move on. Move on and don't come back.
