I never use horses, so please excuse if I'm late to this party, but is there a reason why my character stands completely upright on his horse when I try to use mounted combat? The attack sound effect still happens when I click, but he just stands there on the horse haha. Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong?

Sounds like you are using a mod that changes or adds animations, I know from experience as I had to disable the mod in order for mounted combat to work properly again.
