Birthmarks!

Post » Thu Aug 02, 2012 12:00 pm

Simple as that! Post some details about your birthmarks!

I have a hereditary mole on my right leg, not sure if that counts, but I thought it was awesome (my older brother has it, and my mom has it, same place. My older sister has it on her left leg.)
I also have a white spot in my hair. I also had another hereditary mole, it was on the left side of my head, but it got shaved off on accident when I was 9, and now white hair grows from that too.
Thats about all on my side. Tell about your interesting (or boring) birthmarks!

Me, my brother, my mom, my moms siblings and their children all have a line going down from under our belly buttons. It's not that noticeable as its only a shade darker than the rest of our skin. In fact, unless you know what to look for, you probably won't see it at all.

I think that might be normal.

Feel kind of gutted that a few of you have mentioned moles. I'm covered in the things, so none of them are particularly noteworthy. Luckily only a few are the ones that stick out though. I don't like them at all.

Yeah I have a bunch and I want to get them cut off. Should have done it when I was in Thailand...

I do have one rather large one on my inner thigh.

Three on my left arm, three on my right arm, at least three on my chest, at least two on the back of my neck, one in my belly button... I'm not even sure exactly how many I have.

I had one about the size of a nickel on my left cheek, but I got that removed years ago. Immature teenagers love to tease others about that kind of thing.

I have a mole above my cheek. Nothing special. Also I have a small mole on the top of my right hand, and others randomly spread around my body.

*thinks*
In terms of, say, odd little blotches in the shape of some country or iconic figure, nope, nothing like that.

I'm not sure I'd call most moles "birthmarks", actually. They're just ... moles.

I *had* an extremely large birth mark on the inner side of my left thigh, but it was removed when I was six years old because my parents thought it may threaten my future with skin cancer.

In its place, I now have a gigantic seven-inch scar... which, on top of looking awesome, makes an excellent conversation starter when I'm wearing shorts.

I assume you've already made up a badass story about how you got it? Maybe something about sharks, or bears.

Ive got a mole the size of tictac on my neck. It got bigger when I was little so they cut it off and tested it but nothing. But it grew back. I also have one on my forehead thats a perfect V where the point is right between my eyebrows and it extends to my hairline. Its really faint and cant been seen unless I get pissed off and it like darkens. My parents thought it was hilarious when I was a baby because they could tell if I was crying cause I was hungry/needed changing or just pissed off.

Balls, butt, a few tiny moles/ freckles spaced randomly and sparsely over my body. Inner thigh i got some 1 inch slight discoloration that I really need to search for. Looks like a typical yet less noticable birthmark.

"Hey how did you get that scar?"

"I got a birthmark surgically removed as a child."

"Woah dude, you're a total badass!"

...somewhere in an alternate universe.
