Recommend me a PC

Around two years ago, I purchased myself a laptop because my old one failed to even run Windows XP at a pace which didn't want to make me kill myself and, whilst my laptop still holds up for all my computing needs, it naturally fails to run most PC games. As an Xbox 360 gamer, this doesn't bother me too much, but Bethesda games with their extensive mod support are ones I'd really like to enjoy on a PC. I already own Oblivion, which runs at a snail's pace on my laptop, thanks to the Steam Summer Sale. Since I am going to be getting a larger room soon, which will have space to accommodate a desktop PC, I think it'd be nice to have one merely to play Bethesda games and also enjoy some of Steam's ridiculous sales. So, without going into ridiculous money, can anyone recommend me either a decent desktop PC or decent parts to build my own which would comfortable run most average PC games (Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas and Oblivion are the main ones I want to play) on medium/high settings for a few years to come?

Thats not a gaming pc, the 7570 isnt a gaming card. I wouldnt recommend anything under a 7770 or a gtx 560. The amd cpu isnt that good either.

The games will probably run, but not nicely at full hd.

Would you be prepared to build your own? As it'll be a lot cheaper.

This is the site i bought most of my pc bits from http://www.ebuyer.com/ i must have spent about £2000 with them in the last year.

If you have to go prebuilt never go with Alienware, Dell or HP or pretty much any thing you can find at a normal store. My advice is build it yourself cause it would be much cheaper and you know whats going into it and not some cheap brand x powersupply. Check out some custom builders like Digitalstorm.com or ibuypower.com im not sure of any UK websites but those will still give you an idea. Also do you really need a laptop? If your main use for it is gaming highly consider a Desktop as hardware for those are also cheaper and more powerful.

You're looking at like $1300 plus an OS.
But cheap $600 rig from Walmart is just going to puke anyway, so why waste your money,
get a quality rig to start with.

Although, I might recomend you get an Ivy bridge CPU instead of the Sandy Bridge. Mine is still awesome, but the Ivy bridge is newer and was not available at the time I built my rig.

BTW with this setup you could easily crossifre two of the 6950... give it some extra longevity down the road, or more kick ass now.
