Addicted to sounds : V

Is it just me or the sounds of Skyrim are great and quite addictive? For example I love the sound of salt piles when I pick them up. Or the sound of looting the spider eggs. Or the sounds of catching an insect. What are your favorite sounds?

I recently watched the Behind the Scenes video about Skyrim and that Sound Engineer seemed like a really dedicated and obsessive dude. He was talking about how he is having such difficult time with magic sound effects. He was talking in particular about Calm spell and what kind of sound it would need to make.

It was a pretty cool video. I'm sure ~~many~~ most of you have seen it already.

Yup, I switched off the music so I could hear the amazing sound effects better. I particularly like the footsteps (particularly the soil in caves), all bow and arrow related sounds, and ambient sounds.

Only sound which I dislike in Skyrim is the THUNK when you select a menu option, such as load game.

I play with no music and there is a lot of detail to the sounds, like cicadas chirping, frogs croaking, birds tweeting, ahhhh skyrim sounds.

Yes. I'm a footstep-lover too. I also LOVE the sound of folks smithing. TINK TINK TINK That never gets old.

I love the sound of dragons landing and the sound of capturing souls. I hate the sounds of bears, nirnroot and my character's grunts.

Ditto on Nirnroot! Wouldn't mind it but from Oblivion memories of that Nirnroot quest!

Love waterfalls & rivers etc. & the sound when you open a burial urn - that's exactly what it ought to sound like! Same with turning stone pillars & Dragon Key doors!

I thought I was the only one.

That, gold, the sound of bees being caught (that island with the fisher near the lady stone island has a swarm of 24 bees during the daytime, and it respawns every time you swim to the lady stone and back), the punching sound and the sound of a shield bash are my favourites.

There are so many things in this game that, to me, sound just like I think they should. The first to come to mind is the sound of an ale or mead bottle when dropped on stone. It sounds like there's liquid inside. Also I was running around barefoot and it really sounded like skin on stone or wood. Pretty cool.
