Take a Gander!

Check this video out of Todd Howard at DICE talking about Skyrim and their "Game Jam" Week.

I found this surprising.

I just wish this stuff had made it into Skyrim.

I haven't had a computer since July of last year. And the weather down here is great.

Let's show what stuff we can add to Skyrim to keep the game fresh for long term players would be more accurate.

About as dry as the air between the ears of those who think everyone's been a TES fan since the dawn of time and claim this video is "old news".

I'm a 6 month old TES game. I found the video "new to me". :D

If I had a nickel for every time I had mixed those two up... I'd have two nickels.

My registration here is even younger than 6 months.

I didn't take the comment as an insult, but couldn't resist retorting in the same manner with my reply. :D

It's all good. I wouldn't have found this video on my own, so I like stuff like this, even if it's "old".

Like Morrowind. :woot:

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
The GameJam video is not the showcase of talent Todd would have us believe. It's a marketing tool designed to generate buzz and gauge the demand for various features. Features which were not created spur of the moment as Todd claims but were cut from the original game because they were not ready by the 11.11.11 release date.

Thanks for the correction, I of course meant Dawnguard, which frustratingly remains unreleased for the PS3 platform... :swear:

So what's the point? What do you think, why did they show all these things to us? To get more customers to next DLC's?

At the end of the day, my opinion (which http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1400112-a-tad-disappointed-with/page__view__findpost__p__21318811a couple times) remains the same: "the more I play with Skyrim, the more I feel its shallowness".

I can't blame Bethesda for adapting to the environment where they get the majority of their money from. On the other hand, for the false promises and cheap tricks ...

I read the thread title as Take a gender! and thought it would be a poll about how many people play as male or female. Huh.
