UNIQUE TAVERNS

The overall goal of this project is to revamp all the taverns in Skyrim that are just copies of each other, and to give each tavern a unique atmosphere and character of it's own that blends with it's surrounding environment and history.

So far, 'Dead Man's Drink' located in Falkreath has been done. More taverns will be added over time.

Falkreath Dead Man's Drink

The idea behind the revamp of this tavern was taken from the fact that Falkreath is a very old town and therefore it is likely that the tavern is one of the oldest buildings in the town. So the concept was old, dark carved wood with the bar dominating the room. A smokey, dimly lit atmosphere that showed the age of the building. As the tavern is run by a woman, there are slight feminine touches in the decor.

It won't be to everyones taste, but I am sure that people will prefer some taverns over others and have a favorite 'haunt' when the rest of the taverns are completed as well.

Anyway...

*There are 6 new NPCs there to make the tavern a bit busier. But as the tavern is in a pretty quiet town I didn't go overboard in filling it up day and night.

*Three of those NPCs have new dialog. As it was decided that it would be better for me to release the taverns with just the decor revamp and then go back and add my dialog, I stopped at those three. They are not voiced at this point. Once all the taverns have been revamped I will be heading back to add sounds and voiced dialogs, as well as many other extras. Right now we just need different taverns.You need your subtitles on in order to read their new dialog.

*There was a vanilla bug where Narri the waitress would come over and offer you a drink, but you couldn't get one from her. This has been fixed, you can now buy food and drinks from her.

*The rentable room has been revamped and all items owned by the tavern owner are removed, making the room more 'yours' when you rent it. The bottle of wine on the bedside table is a complementary bottle for you.

*You can safely store items in the wardrobe, the bedside tables and the chest of drawers. The chest at the end of the bed was linked to a quest and therefore I have not touched it. Don't store anything in there.
