I was wondering if Bethesda took bug reports, or game mechanic fix ideas from their forums to implement in game update patches.
One minor, and one majorly, annoying issue each as examples.
-- Aerin, the beloved Mjoll stalker from Riften. I married Mjoll (hey I like a wife that can keep pace with me), but unfortunately she brings her creepy sidekick with her to our house in [INSERT CITY] when she moves. It's not pleasant to wake up to Aerin standing right over the bed, and funnily enough Lydia sitting in the chair of the room when the 'Lovers Embrace' perk pops up. I sent her to the Blades, but I'm a non-evil character who wouldn't kill Mjoll's bff.
-- Paarthunax, the main story's best pro-protagonist character IMO. Helps you every step of the way to defeating the big bad. He enables Alduin's defeat, whereas the Blades are a bunch of whimpering unappreciative [censored]s who use the Dragonborn as a tool the majority of the game. He does way more than the hypocritical Blades ever do, but they want him dead on principal alone.
Wouldn't it be simple enough to add alternative dialogue options to the response of them wanting him dead?
Some simple response examples that could be better elaborated.
– Your right, Paarthunax needs to die for his crimes.
– No, I think “your” usefulness has come to an end. Blah, blah, blah... [[Should set Delphine, and Esbern, as non-essential]]
– (Persuade) After all he has done to help us, he deserves a second chance. Blah, blah, blah... [[Skill check]]
– (Lie) Paarthunax is already dead by my hands. [[Skill check]]
Yes, I realize that these could be implemented through PC mods, but I own both the PC and Xbox360 version. My brother has the PS3 version. Little things like this would go a long way towards making the game more immersive, or less non-immersive in the case of Aerin.
